SyFy has officially given the third installmenet in the Stargate variety the go-ahead for a second season. The show was officially renewed and will premiere next fall. According to THR(as reported by TV Overmind).

Stargate Universe isn't the only show getting the go-ahead, however, as SyFy has also renewed Sanctuary. Both shows have recieved an order for 20 episodes for their second and third seasons, respectively.
